2. Trader Joe’s DARK CHOCOLATE 70% cocao – 3 squares of dark chocolate (38 grams)= 15g fat(9g sat. fat), 19g carbohydrates (5g fiber, 10 g sugar)3 grams protein $.38/serving
3. Trader Joe’s COCONUT OIL – 2 tbsp, 240 calories, 28 g fat (24 grams saturated fat, 1 g polyunsaturated fat, 2 grams monounsaturated fat)*edit 8-1-17 reduced to 2 tbsp $.20/TBS= $.40/2 tbsp serving

I like to drink this “Dark Fat Coffee” pretty much first thing in the morning. For me that usually means between 8am and 9am. It really gives me a ton of energy, if I do 3 scoops of coffee then I definitely workout in “Beast Mode”. But also, and it could be because of the fat, or the rest of my diet, but I never feel a comedown. I have great energy all day until I lay down to sleep.
Directions: Boil water, add water to two or three scoops coarse ground coffee beans in French Press, STIR!, wait four or five minutes, STIR!, add ingredients to blender, add coffee to blender, if you let it sit for another minute or two it will melt the chocolate and make it easier to blend…..BLEND, ENJOY!
TIPS: This coffee will supply instant and long term stable energy. It is crazy high in calories though so watch what else you eat and of course get some good exercise!
